Water Filter (Scrubber)

They are easy-to-use, high-efficiency systems designed for the purification of industrial waste gases and vapors before they are released into the atmosphere.

Wet collectors or scrubbers are available in many different designs and are also used with gases and vapors. Wet collectors use water to assist in separating dust, gaseous or vaporous impurities from the air. Its working mechanism is the collision of water droplets with dust particles. Wet particles are removed onto the chamber by shearing force or by compression (impact). These collectors are suitable for handling gases with high temperature and humidity.

A secondary dust problem in dust collection is minimized since the collected material is in a wet state when being disposed of. In addition, a wet collection system for some dry dusts that are explosive or fire hazardous minimizes this hazard. However, the use of water can cause corrosion inside the collector and freeze protection may be required for collectors located outdoors in cold climates.

Gas washing unit consists of sprays, circulation pump, dosing pump. It can also be equipped with various control devices such as pH sensors to operate automatically.

Its common use is foundries, metal refining and metalworking operations.
